Coweta Cattlemen's Association Rodeo

The Coweta County Cattlemen’s Association, Inc. will sponsor their 19th annual rodeo on Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th at the Coweta County Pine Road Fairgrounds. Gates will open at 7:00 p.m. with the rodeo getting underway with the grand entry at 8:00 p.m.

The rodeo is professionally sanctioned and will include bull riding, calf roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, team roping, steer wrestling and barrel racing. The athletes are professional cowboys and members of the International Professional Rodeo Association. Professional rodeo clowns will provide entertainment and vendors will be on the grounds featuring western wear and tack. Concessions will also be available.

Admission prices are $10.00 for adults; $6.00 for children 4-12; and children 3 and under free. Friday night is family night with all children admitted ½ price when accompanied by an adult. Saturday is “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” night. A portion of the proceeds Saturday night will benefit the Sue Verner Jones Foundation. The foundation was established in 2005 to honor Sue Verner Jones and to assist local breast cancer victims and their families. All tickets are sold at the gate.
