Kia Jobs News

Lots of folks have asked me about working for Kia. (I think being a pizza lady is a lot like being a bartender...people talk to me about everything.)

I have a contact in Kia HR who confirms that the applications received are actually being reviewed by real human beings and not simply sorted by a computer program looking for key words. Considering the number of applications they have, that's quite an undertaking! Another friend tells me he recently heard back from Kia several months after submitting an application...so there is hope for those of you who have applied there!

According to their website, Kia is not accepting any more applications for hourly positions. However, they do post Salaried positions online when they are actively searching for candidates.

Also, Maryleigh Preston-McClure, a Grantville-based recruiter with CTR Professionals, is working on Kia searches for some of the more specific automotive industry professional/management positions. (Sorry, Maryleigh can't help you with entry-level or routine manufacturing jobs - she only places higher end professionals in finance and industry.)
