Despite to economic downturn, some things in Grantville keep moving along. (yea!)
On Saturday, November 1, Stephanie Rogers will host visitors at the Grand Opening of New Image Salon at the corner of LaGrange and Colley Streets, next door to Nick's. Drop by after ten a.m. to meet Stephanie and schedule appointments for tanning, manicures & pedicures, and hair cuts (or coloring, or perms...).
If you prefer an expert in African-American hair styling, see Barbara and Marilyn next door to New Image at Shay's House of Beauty. Barbara has been serving Grantville for over ten years and would love to meet some of our newer residents!
Course, you'll want new clothes to go with your 'new' hair, and you can find great deals at Grantville's Hidden Treasures across the street from our new Beauty Complex. And Scott Drake's new Coin Laundry next to Dollar General will help you keep those clothes clean and fresh. The laundry should open before the end of this month - stay tuned!
...psst....up on Highway 29, you'll also soon be seeing progress on the new Piedmont Hospital Grantville Clinic. Groundbreaking is set for mid-November. The Food Lion grocery store project has successfully navigated many of the pre-groundbreaking permit and approval processes and should be moving ahead soon as well! We recently noticed a new Feed Store on 29 across from Big M Hardware, and there are other prospective business owners looking at various sites in Grantville.
